Introduction

This is a trip that I planned for myself considering that it is very close to realisation. I have put a lot of effort to making this trip-list to make the trip care free and making sure to visit the most exciting attractions within a region. Each day was planned to visit the attractions within a specific region, therefore the goal was to see the entire city in 7 days. Let me take you through each day and show you that it is possible to visit way more by simply planning properly.

Day 1

When traveling, the day has to start with a nourishing and consistent breakfast. Then, one of the most marvelous and magnificent pillars of Barcelona is Sagrada Familia, which has a spectacular view inside and out. Its outer looks do not express the outstanding interior that catches your sight from the first seconds. Besides, Barcelona is famous for its unique architecture projected by Gaudi, a famous architect known for his unique approach to buildings looks, some of them are Casa Mila and Casa Batllo which are similar in style.

Day 2

A bit to the west of Barcelona center you can find the magic fountain which is right in front of the national museum. It is a combination display of water, music, and light. Another great place is Poble Espanyol, which is a built city containing 117 replicas of typical houses all over Spain. It sends the vibes of a typical Spanish street and also hosts stores and restaurants. In close proximity to all these places, there is this typical tapas restaurant, tapas being their traditional mix of appetizers and snacks including, nachos, cheese, hamon, etc.

Day 3

This day was planned to travel all the way to the north of Barcelona, pretty far away from the main attractions. One of the most outsatnding views is said to have Templo del Sagrado Corazon de Jesus. The best view can be obtained by getting there with an electric wired car, which gives the view of the entire temple surrounded by breathtaking nature and view of the entire city. CosmoCaixa is a science museum that exhibits many curious exhibitions. It contains a room dedicated to the universe where you can learn more about the cosmos and the evolution of the species.

One of the best-known creations of Gaudi is Parc Guell. It is not a typical parc, it is for sure one of the most unique out there. The special characteristic of it is surrounded by fairytale houses and palms. Another creation of Gaudi, in fact the first major project is Casa Vicens, which is something way different from what you see everyday.

Day 4

Moving towards the middle-end of our trip, we decided to stick to the city center, having managed to see the remote attractions already. A surprisingly alive park with fountains and green surroundings is Parc Ciutadella. It is a symbol of the city center of some sort, considering that the most attractions and restaurants are located in this area. Very close to it is the Barcelona zoo, hosting a big variety of animals with specially arranged habitat. On the way to these two, you can visit the arch of Triumph which is also in a nice street park.

Impressions

The trip to Barcelona is very promising and if you want to visit the most of its attractions, your days should be consistent. I still believe that Barcelona is not a one-time visit city and for sure you'll find more to see every time you get there. Hopefully this trip list has been of great use to you and you'll use it when you decide to visit Barcelona.
